DVD Operation
Note:
Some DVD discs can be played only in certain playback modes according
to the intentions of the software. As the AXV820 plays discs according to
their intentions, some functions may not work as intended. Please be sure
to read the instructions provided with each disc.
Searching a DVD
Use the touch screen controls to bring up the Search keypad, which allows a
search for a specific time, title or chapter. The Chapter search window appears
as the default.
Alternately, access the Search keypad using the
SRCH
button on

Once the Search window is open, press the corresponding button to search by
Title, Chapter or Time, then use the keypad to enter the desired title, chapter or
time. Press
OK
to begin playback at desired place or time.
For example, to skip to 1 hour, 12 minutes and 19 seconds into the DVD, select
Time, then touch
0 1, 1 2, 1 9, OK

From the remote control:
Press
SRCH
once to access the Search window. Use the arrows to highlight
either the Title, Chapter or Time field, and use the numeric keypad to enter the
appropriate information. Press
OK
to begin playback at desired location.
