Genetic guidelines
•
Avoid air pressure settings above 7 bars as this can
damage the spray gun
•
Only use VACTAC200 hot melt adhesive with the
spray gun. New adhesives will need to be qualified by
R&D before use
•
NEVER
leave the gun lying on its side while turned
on. This will cause adhesive to run back into the
chamber and jamming the gun.
•
Prevent contamination of the adhesive slugs.
Particles in or on the adhesive slugs can block the
nozzle of the spray gun.
•
Always follow current guidelines for adhesive dosage.
Over dosage can cause delamination's.
•
Always consult AXVAC before potential changes of
nozzle type.
•
Hot melt adhesive should not be used for full surface
joining.
•
For large glass pieces it is recommended to join fix-
points in the glass and adhere the fabrics from these
inside the mould as opposed to applying adhesive to
the entire ply outside the mould.
