Shift the safety switch to the rearward (SAFE) position.

Changing the Batteries
To install or change the battery pack:

Shift the safety switch to the forward (ARMED) position so the safety cap pops off.

Shift the safety switch to the rearward (SAFE) position.

Safely remove the Bolt 2 cartridge.

To remove the battery pack, slide the battery door off the energy weapon.

Replace the batteries.

Reinstall the battery pack. Ensure that the battery pack is fully inserted into the Bolt 2 energy
weapon. Failure to do so could result in a damaged energy weapon or a loss of power during
a deployment.

Slide the battery door back onto the energy weapon.
