To use Static IP 

Select Specify an IP address and enter the followings. 

IP address: 192.168.1.x      (x could be from 2 ~ 254) 

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 

Now click on 

Gateway

 tab. You will see the following screen. 

 

 

 

Enter 192.168.1.1 in

New Gateway,

 and click 

Add

. 

Now click on the DNS Configuration tab.    You will see the following screen. 

 

 

Enter 192.168.1.1 in DNS Server Search Order and click Add. 

Then click OK.

You have now finished the network settings of your computer. Please go to Chapter 4 to continue.
