Device Lock/Unlock
You can use “Device Lock” function to fix current device code and this device code
cannot be changed by code set up or code search. You can use the “Unlock” to quit from this
function.
a. Strike the device key that you want to fix such as [TV] , [CBL/SAT], etc
b. Press and hold the [SET] key, then press the [7] key, then release the both pressed keys,
the LED will blink twice then off, the code of the current device are locked.
c. If you want unlock the current code, press and hold the [SET] key, Then press the [8] key,
then release the pressed keys, the LED will blink twice and then off, the current code
unlocked.
Remark:
Only one device can be fixed.
B. Code Shift
Code Shift makes you flexible to change one device button to another. E.g. you can set
up a TV code to DVD, then you will have 2 TV device in your remote control. Or you can set
up VCR as a DVD... etc.
For example, If you want to operate a second TV, you can change(shift) DVD device
button as a second TV device button, and set up a TV code to the DVD device button. Just
follow the steps as below:
a. Press the [SET] key and hold it, and then press the device button you want to change,
e.g. [DVD], the LED under DVD will be on at the moment, release the pressed both
keys.
B .Press the device button that your want to have more, e.g. [TV] . The LED under TV
button flashes
c. Enter in the 3-­‐digit Device Code
，
the LED will be off automatically, Shift succeed
。
d. Then the code shift succeeds
Remark:
1. All the devices can be shifted and preserved.
If you want to cancel the code shift, enter in the code device or auto search or manual search
to cancel it.
