User manual v1.1

3. Warnings and safety information

The maintenance of AWIECO Server may be performed only by service technicians during

the warranty period. Removing the cover of the case during the warranty period will

immediately invalidate all warranty claims.

Find a suitable location for your server. AWIECO Server is designed to operate fanless. To

ensure that the system is working most of the time passively cooled, you should follow these

instructions:

Do not place the Server in an enclosed cabinet or something similar

Do not place the Server in direct sunlight, near to the heating or possible sources of

water

Do not cover the venting holes on the top and the cooling rips on the side of the case

It is normal that the sides of AWIECO Server case get warm during operation.

It is only allowed to plug or unplug a hard drive during operation if you enabled the Hot-plug

settings in the BIOS. Remove a hard drive only after a safe remove in management software

and wait for the notification that the drive can be removed safely. Please remove only after

the notification appears. It is recommended to shut down the Server to add or remove a hard

drive.
