HRV100 COMPACT RECUPERATOR
HRV100 Compact Recuperator
- designed for continuous operation -is fitted with an accumulation type heat
exchanger to keep and accumulate heat energy in the process of extracting air from a room where the system
is installed. Accumulated heat is delivered to the air supplied from outside. This solution allows for fresh air
distribution at virtually the same temperature as indoors - regardless of the weather outdoors.
The system operates in two modes: extraction and air supply. Each mode can operate with two speeds:
1 - normal extraction - normal air supply
2 - fast extraction - fast air supply.
Timing of each mode is 60 seconds. Shifting the speed is done by using a pull chain positioned on the body of
the fan.
Heat exchanger is made of aluminum. This alloy has one of the best heat exchange ratios among metals.
Another advantage it has is that it doesn’t absorb water.
The system is additionally fitted with the solid and liquid particle air filter.
The system consists of integral elements and it its proper operation is possible only in the
manufacturer’s configuration (Fig. 1). The system includes:
1) Two-speed supply/extract fan 230V
2) Aluminum accumulation type heat exchanger
3) Telescopic ventilation duct adjustable from 260 to 405 mm
4) Exhaust cover
DESIGNATED USE
The HRV100 stationary recuperator is designed for single-room decentralised heat recovery ventilation.
Key advantages which set out this device from similar solutions available on the market are:
•
Innovative aluminum heat accumulator design (products which are currently sold on the market have
ceramic accumulators). Aluminum heat exchanger use - thanks to faster heat accumulation - improves
ventilation efficiency while maintaining its effectiveness (shorter intervals between airflow direction changes).
•
Undesired bacteria and fungi proliferation is much lower on aluminum surfaces than on porous ceramic
surfaces. Aluminum doesn’t absorb humidity, which is good for the quality of supplied air, and it’s also better
for the exchanger’s durability, as under extreme conditions a damp exchanger may start to crack in minus
temperatures. These characteristics of aluminum are particularly important in our climate zone.
•
First speed fan power consumption is reduced to 1.5 W.
•
Universal and easy installation using 230 V power supply (current installations are complicated because they
need a 12 V transformer).
•
Simplified control system - fewer cables.
•
Heat exchange is possible where central recuperator vent ducts can’t be routed (renovations, rooms on lower
levels).
