Introduction
Product Description
IB780 is a high-performance flexible CPU card based on the VIA Apollo
PLE 133T chipset. The VIA Apollo PLE 133T chipset is based on an
innovative and scaleable architecture with proven reliability. It is a two-
chip set consisting of the VT8601T North Bridge Controller and
VT82C686B South Bridge Controller.
IB780 supports 66/100/133MHz system bus, up 1.2GHz CPU speed, the
VT8601T integrated graphics accelerator. Additional key features
include support for four USB ports, AC-97 link for audio, hardware
monitoring, and power management.
System memory is provided by three 168-pin DIMM sockets that
accommodate SDRAM with a maximum capacity of 1.5GB. The Award
BIOS facilitates easy system configuration and peripheral setup.
Expansion functionality is provided with MicroPCI socket that supports
MicroPCI daughter cards for Ethernet (LAN), SCSI, and IEEE 1394
functions.

data/program storage and long life span. They are reliable and suitable

shock, vibration, adverse temperature, dust and humidity. Other features
include faster data access, longer MTBF, lower power consumption, cost
effective for small capacity and small form factor.
