1) DEVICE
For the PTZ camera, select “PTZ”.
For a zoom lens control camera:
The DVR will detect it automatically and display its model number here.
To configure the parameters for a zoom lens control camera, please refer to “5.5.9 DCCS” at page 27. Different zoom lens control
cameras might have different parameter settings. For details, please refer to their own user manuals.
2) ID
Click the current value to set the ID number (0 ~ 255) for the connected PTZ camera if necessary.
Make sure the ID setting of the camera is the same as the setting here, or the DVR will not be able to control
the device.
Note:
To know the default ID of the PTZ camera, please refer to its user manual.
3) PROTOCOL
Select NORMAL (our protocol), P-D (PELCO-D) or P-P (PELCO-P) protocol.
4) RATE
Select the baud rate for the connected PTZ camera (2400 / 4800 / 9600 / 19200 / 57600 / 115200).
Make sure the baud rate setting of the camera is the same as the setting here, or the DVR will not be able to
control the device.
Note:
To know the default baud rate of the PTZ camera, please refer to its user manual.
5.5.9 DCCS
Note:
For 16CH models, only channel 1, 5, 9 & 13 support DCCS camera connection;
For 8CH models, only channel 1 & 5 support DCCS camera connection;
For 4CH models, only channel 1 supports DCCS camera connection.
