GENERAL INFORMATION
BASIC CONTROL
The AV-143CP-PS-AVA is a DC to >500 kHz fixed-gain linear amplifier. The gain is fixed
at +6 V/V.
The required voltage input signal is applied at the “IN” connector.
This mode is illustrated below:
CURRENT LIMITING
The AV-143CP-PS-AVA is designed to generate output amplitudes of up to +12V, with
output currents of up to +500 mA.
If an excessively low impedance is connected to the output, the amplifier will safely limit
the maximum output current to +650 mA, approximately.
CAPACITIVE LOADING
The AV-143CP-PS-AVA is designed to handle load capacitances of up to 2.2 nF. Larger
capacitances should be avoided, as they may cause instability, oscillations, and/or
excessive output currents.
CABLE LENGTHS
The length of cable used to connect the load to the output of the function generator
should be less than 3 feet (1 meter), and ideally less than 18 inches (0.5 meters) if the
load resistance is not 50 Ohms. At longer lengths, the transmission line reflections
