APPENDIX A HDBASET FIRMWARE UPGRADE
Process the Update TX_xxx.bat or UpdateRX_xxx.bat file to upgrade firmware. (xxx is
specified for firmware version) These files are used for upgrading the
VS010TX/VS010RX IC in your devices.
- The UpdateTX_xxx.bat file is used to upgrade the Switcher or D.A system (the
VS010TX IC in your Switcher) firmware.
- The UpdateRX_xxx.bat file is used to upgrade the Extender (the VS010RX IC in your
HX-SRUW) firmware.
A-1 HX-SRUW HDBaseT F/W Upgrade
Follow the steps as below to upgrade the Extender firmware:
1. Connect the control PC and HX-SRUW with a RS232 cable.

2. Connect the DC 12V adapter
3. Adjust the F/W DIP switch on the Extender.
