Learning Keys
There are 4 learning keys on the remote marked with USER . They can be used to
learn the codes from your existing TV remote control: TV-Power ,
Source , VOL+ and VOL- .
In this way you only need one single remote control for your STB and your TV set.
For example, you can program it to switch your TV on or off, select the
corresponding input (e.g. HDMI1) and control the audio volume of your TV.
How to learn the codes:
1. Press and hold on the button on the new AVIQ TV remote you wish to
teach (e.g.
TV Power ) for 6 seconds . The red LED indicator on the TV
Power button will now be lit to indicate that you have entered the
learning mode.
2. Place your original TV remote to point to the new AVIQ TV remote. Make
sure you keep the fronts of the two remotes opposite to each other
within 1 cm.
3. Press and hold the corresponding button (e.g. TV Power) on your original
TV remote. The red LED light on the new AVIQ TV remote will blink three
times and then switch off to indicate that the learning was successful
4. Repeat the process for the remaining three learning buttons on your new
AVIQ TV remote.
Try out the newly learned function from your new AVIQ TV remote. If it does not
work, please repeat steps 1 – 3.
