4. Flaps on the Spitfire should be set for 3 stages (up/no flap, mid flap and full flap).Set
these either mechanically by adjusting the clevises or by using your computer radio. Set
the mid flap position to 40° and full flaps to approximately 87° as shown. In the up/no flap
position ensure the flaps are closed fully but without straining the servo. Also check that
both sets of flaps deploy the same amount at every stage.
