C - INSTALLATION
Positioning of the bracket on the gate
To position the motor on the gate, the motor rod must be retracted 20mm from its fully extended position.
If
this distance is not strictly observed, the motors may experience operating problems that are not
covered by the product warranty.
•
Unscrew the motor rod by hand to get it all the way out.
•
Make a mark on the inner tube 20 mm from the outer tube as shown in the drawing below:

Screw the 20 mm inner tube back on using the previously made mark; push the tube in until the mark
disappears, but no further.

Close the gate and place the mounting bracket on the crossbar of the gate, making sure that the motor is
horizontal
, then mark the location of the two holes to be drilled in the gate.
Once the holes are drilled, remove the gate mounting bracket from the motor by removing the pin. Attach the
bracket to the gate, preferably using through-bolts.

Reassemble the motor and the gate mounting bracket.
