Removing the Side Covers
Side Covers must be removed before you can remove the Bolster.
To remove the Side Covers:
1
To remove the fasteners securing the Bolster to each Side Cover, first remove the plastic plugs concealing each fastener (one on
the left and one on the right end of the Bolster), then remove each fastener.
2
As you disassemble frame components, keep all fasteners organized to simplify re-assembly. To simplify fastener organization,
print the pages of
Appendix A, “Labels for Fasteners”
and cut out the labels provided for each stage of disassembly.
Never attempt to move or lift a chassis by the Side Covers, Bolster, or Rear Panels as they can break. Move or lift while holding
on to the metal chassis instead.
