2. Remove the following cards from your Macintosh and set them aside on a clean
antistatic surface. These are the cards you are moving from the NuBus slots in
the Macintosh to the NuBus slots in the Expansion Chassis.
•
SiliconExpress SCSI card (ATTO)
•
AudioMedia II card or SA 4 interface card
•
card
•
Enhancement card
•
Avid advanced JPEG card

Some of these cards are optional and may not be installed in your Macintosh.

The card, the JPEG card, and the optional Enhancement card are
installed as a set. These cards are interconnected by ribbon cables. You’ll need to
disconnect the ribbon cables before removing the cards from the Macintosh. Note
that it is only necessary to disconnect one end of the ribbon cable; the other end can
remain attached to one of the cards. Press the connector release tabs to disconnect the
ribbon cables. Gently pull them off the card.
3. Locate the interface card and carefully remove it from the antistatic bag (see
Figure 15).
