Edge Components
The major Eclipse Edge equipment components are the IDUspe 16x and ODUspe.
IDUspe 16x
IDUspe 16x is a 1RU rack-mounting chassis with front-panel user interfaces for
Ethernet, NxE1, and management access. It supports two ODUs, one for 1+0, or two
for 1+1 hot-standby or space diversity.

• 4Mbit/s, 2xE1, 3.5 MHz
• 8Mbit/s, 4xE1, 7 MHz
• 16Mbit/s, 8xE1, 14 MHz
• 32Mbit/s, 16xE1, 28 MHz
• Continuous phase modulation (CPM)
