4.3 Main Program Window 

 

Once communication has been successfully established and the error-log process 
complete, 

aimcfg

 will next display the main program window. The main window 

contains a number of pull-down menus that you will use to access the various 
features of the configuration utility. 

 

 

 

 

 
4.4 File Menu 

 

Clicking on the File menu will display a list of options you will use to perform basic 
functions such as downloading the internal AIMMS data log or changing the COM 
port assignment and baud rate of the computer. Each of the file menu items is 
described in Sections 4.4.1 to 4.4.6. 

 
 

 

 

 
4.4.1 Log Download 

 

Selecting Log Download will immediately start the process of transferring the 
contents of the internal flight data log to the hard disk of your computer. 

 

When the Log Download menu item is selected, a dialog box appears indicating the 
file name used for storing the data log (generated based on date and time) and the
