Radio commands
As explained in section Operation , when the dialler is connected to a remote telephone, in order to carry out
certain operations on the system, commands (DTMF) can be transmitted from the telephone to the dialler by
means of the AF905RR and AF906RR radio receivers, to which the controller is connected. The dialler has 16
radio output channels and can than communicate with 16 groups of receivers. For better understanding, find below
the receiver s operating instructions. For more details on the receivers installation refer to the installation manual.
A receiver is a device housed in a monoblock for installation in a flush-mounted box AVE 2503 or wall-mounted box
with 53SA03 enclosure (see figure). It is equipped with a two-contact relay (NO and NC with insulation). A
potentiometer P1 is also provided and, in the examples described below, is used to control the time the relay is
energized. The receiver communicates with all the radio-controlled transmitters of AVE range. The receiver and
relay operation depends on the radio-controlled signal received, that-is from the transmitter which is transmitting in
that precise moment. To be more specific, if a signal is received from
a volumetric detector AF968R, a perimeter detector AF913R, from control panels AF910RS or AF920RF: the
relay is energized for the time set on P1 (monostable operation)
the remote control AF40R: the relay energizes when the red button is pressed and de-energizes when the
green button is pressed (bistable operation); the relay can also be energized for the time set on P1
(monostable operation) just be pressing the black key.
the keypad AF978R (2
nd
generation): the relay energizes when the receiver s code (previously saved in the
receiver itself) and the red button are pressed, and de-energizes when the same code is entered and the green
button is pressed.
