Leaving an instant messaging conversation
About this task
When you navigate away from a conversation screen to some other screen on Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience, the conversation remains in your conversation history. From the
Messages
tab, you can open a conversation and resume it.
You can also leave a conversation. When you leave a conversation, the built-in UC experience
removes all messages in the conversation from your conversation history.
Before you begin
Open the conversation.
Procedure
1. On the conversation screen, to open the
More
menu, tap next to the participant name.
2. Tap
Leave Conversation
.
3. In the Leave Conversation dialog box, tap
OK
.
The application removes the conversation from your conversation history.

About this task
Use this procedure to configure notifications of services, including calendar events and instant
messages, on Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience.
By default, all notifications are enabled for Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience. You can
disable all notifications of Avaya Vantage
™
built-in UC experience to appear on the notification
area of the device. You can enable or disable a specific type of notification, such as instant
messages. You can also modify the notification sound and visual alert behavior.
