DHCP server
300 Avaya G450 CLI Reference
client-identifier
Use the
client-identifier
command to configure a reservation/manual pool. A
reservation/manual pool reserves one IP address for a specific client. This command specifies a
unique identifier for the client. The pool for which you configure a client identifier must contain
one IP address only. This means that the start and end IP addresses of the pool must be equal.
The DHCP server uses the client identifier to recognize the DHCP client and allocates the
reserved IP address to the client. Use the
no
form of this command to clear a specified unique
identifier for a DHCP client.
