OPERATING YOUR FREEZER

?

Temperat ure Control Panel

?

The first time you turn the unit ON or after defrosting, slide the “Fast Freezing” switch to the “ON”
position for at least 2 hours (max 4).  This will ensure the cabinet is thoroughly chilled before food is
put in.

?

Turn “OFF” the Fast Freeze switch.

?

Adjust the temperature control to the setting that best suits your needs.

?

Temperature Selector

?

The temperature control is located underneath the countertop on the front side of the cabinet.

?

The first time you turn the unit on set the temperature control to the “MAX” position. (you may use a

coin or flathead screwdriver.)

?

The range of the temperature control is from position" MIN" the warmest to “MAX” the coldest. After

24 to 48 h ours, adjust the temperature control to the setting that best suites your needs. The setting
of “MED” should be correct for home or office freezer use.

?

To turn the freezer off, turn the temperature control to " OFF”

NOTE:

?

Turning the temperature control to "OFF" position stops the cooling cycle but does not shut off
the power to the freezer.

?

If the unit is unplugged, power lost, or turned off; you must wait 3 to 5 minutes before restarting
the unit. If you attempt to restart before this time delay, the freezer will not start.

?

Indicator Lights

FAST FREEZE: When the fast freezing switch is ON the indicator lamp will be lit in yellow color.
POWER: When the appliance is connected to the power supply, the indicator lamp on the control panel
will be lit green.
ALERT: When the freezer compartment is not cold enough, the indicator lamp will be lit in red color. Set
the thermostat dial to “MAX” position until the red indicator lamp is OFF. After you get the desired
condition you must return the dial to a lower pos ition. Check the frozen foods .

?

Ice Compartment

There is a small compartment located above the top drawer. It is designed for the storage of ice cubes,
hotdogs and bacon.

?

Using Your Ice Cube Tray

?

Recommended thermostat setting for ice making is position “MAX” .

?

Fill the ice tray (two thirds of it) with cold water or with any liquid suitable for
freezing and place the tray on the bottom of the freezer to freeze properly.

?

Dry the tray, otherwise it may stick to the bottom of the freezer.

?

The best method to get ice cubes out of the tray is to hold the tray under cold tap
water for a second.

?

To eject the ice cubes from the tray, place over the ice bucket and twist slightly.
