INITIAL SETUP AND CONFIGURATION. 

After you have installed the unit in its final location, proceed to set up digital access controls. 

1)

 

Using the emergency Access Key, open the safe. 

2)

 

Open the battery compartment cover. 

3)

 

Following the image shown in the battery compartment install 4 AA sized batteries. 

4)

 

Close the battery compartment cover. 

5)

 

Using the keypad, enter the initial setup password “1234” or the administrator password 

“888888”. 

NOTE: 

Battery Life / Level:  Always replace all of the batteries at the same time.  If at any time the battery 

level is too low to operate the security safe, use the emergency access key. 

 

Safety / Security Feature:  If the passcode is entered incorrectly more than 3 times the keypad will 

go into lock mode.  After approximately (15) fifteen minutes the keypad will return to normal 

working function. 

 

Interior Light:  When the safe is unlocked using the keypad, the interior light will turn on and will 

turn off automatically after approximately 30 seconds. 

 

Automatic Door Opening:   When the safe is unlocked using the keypad the door will automatically 

open slightly outward to allow easy / quick access to contents stored in the safe. 

RESETTING THE ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD 

To reset the access code read and follow the steps below. 

1)

 

With the door open, press the “Clear”key twice,  the Yellow Light flashes,enter old master code 

(default 

8-8-8-8-8-8

Re-inter the new master code, the Green Light flashes and one long acoustic signals (

indicates new master code changed successfully. 

 

 

GUEST / USER CODE SETUP 

To reset the access code read and follow the steps below. 

1)

 

With the door CLOSED, enter a new 3 – 6 digit code and press the “LOCK” key to confirm the new 

pass code. 

2)

 

You will hear and see the security lock engage. 

3)

 

Enter the new pass code to open the security safe.   

4)

 

Close the door and enter the new code set up in step # 1 and press the “LOCK” key.  

5)

 

If the Guest / User enters the wrong pass code three (3) times in a row the keypad will go into 

security-lock mode and will remain locked for approximately (15) fifteen minutes.  After the (15) 

fifteen minutes has elapsed the keypad will return to normal operation.
