Troubleshooting

TROUBLE

POSSIBLE CAUSE

SOLUTION

Attachment cannot be 

installed onto the mixer hub Hub shaft is in let-in position

Rotate mixer's shaft slowly until 

it can be inserted

Knife or plate scraping 

front housing

Thrust bearing loose

Tighten thrust bearing

Lock pin not fully engaged

Make sure the lock pin is 

properly engaged

Mounted unit rattles when 

under power

Thumbscrew or securing 

mechanism is loose or missing

Tighten or replace thumbscrew

Feed plate scraping plates

Feed plate is out of adjustment

Adjust feed plate with 

adjusting screw

CAUTION: Review all safety notes and disconnect the electrical power supply 
to the equipment before attempting corrective measures .
