Using the Leaf blower
1.
Set the attachment to working position.
The Leaf blower works in the most
efficient way, when it is slightly lifted off
the ground, as shown in the adjacent
figure.
Do not press the Leaf blower against the
ground. Keep the attachment slightly
lifted off the ground during operation.
2.
Turn the blower nozzle so that it is
directed away from people or any surface
that might get damaged from flying
debris. See page
21 for information about
the chute control.
3.
Set the loader engine rpm to low or
moderate level. See the Operator's
manual of the loader for information
about which rpm to use so that the
hydraulic oil flow is correct for this
attachment. Typically, the 1-pump setting
of auxiliary hydraulics should be used on
loaders that are equipped with 2 auxiliary
hydraulic pumps.
4.
Start the Leaf blower by turning the
auxiliary hydraulics control lever to its
locking position, or by using the buttons
of the joystick.
5.
Drive slowly according to operating
conditions.
Operate the attachment keeping the hydraulic flow within recommended range. Never
exceed maximum allowed input of hydraulic energy.
6.4.1
Blowing height adjustment
The height adjustment of the chute tip may be manual or electric. Tighten the manual adjustment securely.
See page
21 for instructions about how to use the electric blowing height adjustment.
DANGER
Entanglement and cutting hazards - Never put your
hands inside the blower chute.
Beware of cutting and
entanglement hazards near the Leaf blower, never leave the
driver’s seat if the attachment is switched on, or if it can start
unexpectedly. Always stop the Leaf blower and the loader
following the safe stopping procedure before going near the
attachment.
