Designed purpose of use

The  AVANT  Demolition  grapple  bucket is  an  attachment  suitable  for  use  with  AVANT  multi  purpose  loaders
shown in Table 1. The  Demolition grapple  bucket combines a  normal bucket and  a  grapple and is  therefore
suitable for a multitude of jobs.

The robust bucket is intended mainly to transport loose and irregular objects or materials, where the hydraulic
grapples  make  the  work  significantly  more  efficient.  The  demolition  bucket  is  especially  practical  tool  for  all
demolition,  clearing,  and  construction  work,  but  the  agile  combination  of  Avant  loader  and  a  bucket  is  well
suited  also  for  other  material  grabbing  and  transporting  tasks.  Together  with  an  Avant  loader  and  other
construction and demolition attachments intended for Avant loaders, the demolition bucket is an excellent and
long lasting tool for also tough conditions.

The  bucket  makes  it  possible  to  grab  on  materials  along  its  whole  width,  as  the  grapples  press  down
independently  with  equal  force.  The  hydraulically  operated  bucket  is  controlled  from  the  driver’s  seat  of  the
loader  with  the  auxiliary  hydraulics  control  system  of  the  loader  and  both  grapples  move  with  the  same
control. The hydraulic components on the bucket are covered so that trouble-free operation is ensured also in
demanding tasks. The bucket must not be used when its cylinders or hydraulic parts are submerged in water.
The bucket is not intended to transport persons or to be used as a work platform even in temporary use. The
bucket and  its  grapples  are  not  intended  for  other  purposes  than  grabbing  and  holding  on  to material  in  the
bucket.

The  attachment  has  been  designed  to  require  as  little  maintenance  as  possible.  The  operator  can  perform
regular  maintenance  tasks.  All  repair  work  can’t  be  performed  by  the  operator,  and  demanding  repair  and
maintenance operations are to be left for professional maintenance. All maintenance work must be done using
proper safety equipment. Spare parts must be identical with original specifications, which can be ensured by
using only original spare parts. A separate spare parts catalog may be available, consult your Avant dealer.

Familiarise  yourself  with  the  manual's  instructions  regarding  service  and  maintenance.  Please  contact  your
AVANT  retailer  if  you  have  additional  questions  about  the  operation  or  maintenance  of  the  equipment,  or  if
you require spare parts or maintenance services.

The  compatibility  recommendations  are  based  on  the  width  of  the  loader,  lifting  capacity,  and  adequate
breakout  force.  Normally  the  width  of  the  attachment  should  match  roughly  the  width  of  the  loader.  When
using  too  wide  attachment  the  actual  breakout  force  (bucket  tilting  capacity)  decreases  and  the  overall
performance  will  decrease.  To  estimate  the  lifting  capacity  of  the  loader  the  load  diagram  shown  in  the
operator’s manual of the loader can be used. When using with models marked with (



, full performance may

not be achieved. Additional counterweights may also  be required. For compatibility  information  with a model
not shown in table above, contact your Avant dealer.
