Pairing in True Wireless mode
The Ear Shots SE are fitted with an intelligent chipset that allows instant pairing on smart devices. To enter pairing mode simply open the lid of the charging case and the
LED indicator on the case will glow green. Open the Bluetooth list on your smart device
and search for the pairing name “
AV:LINK Ear Shots SE
” and select. If asked for
a
pairing code,
enter “0000”
and your device should then connect. Once paired you can reconnect or disconnect to your device at any time by simply opening and closing the
lid on the charging case. Remove either earbud for mono or hands-free use or both earbuds to experience the amazing stereo sound experience of Ear Shots SE.
Play/pause
Each earbud has a multi-function (MF) touch button which is located on the outside surface of the earbud stalk (see Overview above). To play or pause the current track,
press the button on either earbud once.
Next track/previous track
To move to the next music track, press the multi-function touch button on the right earbud twice and to move to the previous track repeat the procedure on the left earbud.
Increase/decrease volume
To increase the master volume, press the multi-function touch button on the right earbud three times and to decrease the master volume repeat the procedure on the left
earbud.
Voice
assistant
To activate your device
’
s in-built voice assistant (Siri, Alexa etc), press and hold one of the multi-function touch buttons for around 3 seconds then release. You will hear a
beep prompting for a voice command. You can then ask for anything you want the device to do, such as tell you the weather, move to the next track, play a specific track or
album or even find your way home using a maps application.

Hands-free operation
When you receive a phone call during audio playback, a ringtone can be heard in the earbuds. To accept the call, press the MF touch button on either earbud once or twice
to reject the call. When you have completed the call, hang up by pressing the MF touch button on either earbud again.
Charging the earbuds and case
To charge the earbuds, carefully place them in the corresponding magnetic ports of the charging case and close the lid. The LED indicator will glow red and when charging is
complete it will go out. It usually takes around 1 hour to fully cha
rge the earbuds from ‘flat’
. There is also a charging button located on the back of the case which will stop
and start the charging process when pressed. The charging case is a compact, magnetic carry case and power bank, with capacity to fully recharge the earbuds up to 3
times. To charge the charging case, connect it to a compatible USB power socket using the charging cable provided. When charging, the LED indicator on the front of the
charging case will flash red and when fully charged, it will go out.
Resetting the earphones
If you encounter any recurring problems with your Ear Shots SE the best solution is to erase them from your smart device and start again. To perform this procedure first
return the earbuds to the charging case and close the lid. Next open up the Bluetooth device list and look for

and select. Next click on

and then repeat the

procedure as seen above.

The Ear Shots SE will not pair with my device.
A)
Check that the earphones are in pairing mode; Bluetooth is enabled on your device; and the device is set as
‘discoverable’.
Q)
The Ear Shots SE disconnect with my device within the stated 10m transmission distance.
A)
The maximum transmission distance stated is dependent on a clear line of
sight between the earphones and your device. If there are large metallic objects or other devices transmitting radio or wireless signals in the vicinity, they may impact on the
reception of the earphones.

The Ear Shots SE won

t reconnect with my device.
A)
On occasion, your Bluetooth device or the earphones may enter a locked state and need resetting. To do this,
follow the instructions for

Performing a factory reset

above.

One of the earbuds drops in and out of signal.
A)
On occasion there may be something interfering with the connection between each earbud and your smart device which
may cause performances issues. When this happens try moving your smart device nearer to the earbuds or out of bags or pockets where the signal may be weakened.
