MECHANICAL RELEASE SYSTEM: LEVER AND SPRING

See item [1] on

Figure 14



Verify the condition of the system: rust, corrosion, damages.



Make sure the release spring is well positioned and attached on both sides. The side of the spring

should not touch the crankshaft [4] when the mechanism is moving.



Look for abnormal movement or noise during normal operation (mobile obstacles open and closed).



Lubricate the release spring and the moving parts of the lever (hidden behind the crankshaft [4] on

the picture.

LOCKING MECHANISM

Wedge the mobile obstacle open to avoid any movements (use a shim or a wood block).



Verify the integrity of the power cables of the solenoid [2].



Make sure nuts are properly tightened.
