3.6.3. Operating modes
This screen is used to define the operating modes of the lanes based on a criterion chosen by the user (a
time range for example).
This is a type of generic mode that can define the operation mode for a group of lanes.
For instance, in the figure above, the generic mode
Default
is the defined operating mode for both lanes
of the
Accueil
group (
Free entry
– Normally closed lane – Free exit
); it should be noted, however, that the settings
could be different for each lane.
This mode will likely be applied during the site's opening hours to the public. A
Night
mode could also be
created that would lock the entry and the exit. This would enable the entire group to go into
Night
mode
automatically upon building closure instead of having to modify the operating modes for each lane each
day.
Note
define

a generic mode.
change
the operating mode of a lane from the generic mode.
Array
List used to select the group of lanes for which a generic mode will be
defined.
Available groups are created in the
L
ANE MANAGEMENT
screen.
Mode
List used to select a generic mode to be modified.
Generic modes are managed via items
.
Generic mode names are identical for all groups of lanes. A generic
mode can be applied to any group, but could result in a different
operation from one group to the other based on the operating mode
defined for each lane (see items
).
New
Used to create a new generic mode.
Modify
Used to modify the name of the generic mode selected in list
.
Delete
Used to delete the generic mode selected in list .
