Chapter 4: Fault Finding
All Autohelm products are comprehensively tested procedure
prior to packing and shipment. In the unlikely event that a fault
does occur, the following check list should help cure the
problem.

No power supply.

SeaTalk bus
connectors are
correct between
the Bridge and
the power
supply.
Check the
fuse/circuit
breaker.
NMEA data not
converted and
transmitted onto
the SeaTalk bus.
Equipment not
setup to
transmit correct
NMEA sentences.
NMEA Bridge
incorrectly
wired.
Variable
information such
as XTE, bearing
to waypoint,
Lat/Lon already
on SeaTalk bus.
Refer to the
manufacturers
operating
handbook.
Check
connections.
