Filling The Fresh Water Tank
The tank is filled via a lockable water inlet on
the outside of your vehicle.
This inlet is identified by a blue tap symbol
adjacent to it, (either a blue label or a blue
moulding on the filler itself).
The location of the water inlet will vary from vehicle
to vehicle so please familiarise yourself with its
location before using your vehicle for the first time.
Before attempting to fill your fresh water tank
please ensure that the cold water drain tap inside
the vehicle is in the closed position (see ‘draining
the water system’ section).
To Fill
• Remove the cap and insert a suitable length
of pipe.
• Connect the other end to a clean water supply.
• Fill the tank until either the water level gauge
reads 100%, or until the tank begins to
overflow.
• Remove the hose. Replace the cap, lock and
remove the key.
Emptying the fresh water tank
Your freshwater tank will have at least one drainage
tap located outside your vehicle (depending on the
model it could have two drainage taps fitted – see
“travel drain” section below).
To completely empty the freshwater tank simply
rotate the drainage tap to the open position and the
tank will empty.
Please note, use only food or drug quality pipe.
Travel Drain
Your vehicle may be fitted with a “travel drain”
system. This secondary drain tap (which is be
clearly labelled) allows you to empty the freshwater
tank to a predetermined level (nominally 20 litres).
Emptying the tank to this level gives you the
capacity to carry additional equipment to your
destination where that tank can be ‘topped up’ to its
full capacity. If you chose not to use this feature then
the tank can be filled to its ‘full’ capacity but you
must adjust your carrying capacity accordingly to
ensure the vehicle is not overloaded.
Waste Water Tank
All waste water (excluding the toilet) is piped
into an onboard waste water tank located
underneath your vehicle. The volume of the waste
water tank will vary depending on which model
you have chosen.
When the waste tank becomes full (which will be
indicated by a visible and audible signal on control
panel), the tank should be emptied via the drain
valve on the outside of the vehicle over a suitable
drainage point.
When the ‘tank full’ indicator sounds there will still
be some capacity in the waste tank, but we would
advise that it is emptied as soon as possible.
