How to light your LP Gas Grill Side Burner (See
diagram below for illustrations)
1) Important: Make sure Side Burner Control Knob is
turned “off” first. Make sure the LP gas cylinder valve is
open by turning the valve handle counter-clockwise until
it stops.
2) From the “Off” position, push in the Side Burner Control
Knob (right most knob of the control panel) and turn
counter-clockwise to the “high” position.
3) Push the igniter button several times so that it clicks each
time.
4) Check to make sure that the burner is lit.
5) If the side burner does not light, repeat Steps 2 and 3.
The burner should light within three or four attempts.
WARNING: If burner fails to light after following
Steps 2 & 3, turn Side Burner Knob to the “off”
position and close the valve on the LP gas cylinder.
Wait five minutes; then repeat all of the above
lighting procedures.

Lighting the Side Burner (Elite Series Only)
1. Make sure Side Burner Control Knob
is turned “off” first. Make sure the LP
Gas Cylinder valve is open by turning
the valve counter-clockwise until it
stops.
2. Push the Side
Burner Control
Knob and turn
counter-clockwise
to the high position.
3. Push igniter
button to light.
