PRELIMINARY AND CONFIDENTIAL

Power-On Self Test (POST) and Boot Sequence

At power on, the NetServer performs a series of WarmStart self tests. A WarmStart bypasses lengthy 
power-on board-level hardware and memory test procedures, speeding up the overall boot time for 
the system. For information on additional boot options after the initial NetServer power on, refer to 
the System Manager’s Guide.

The following is a sample boot message file. System messages can vary depending on the individual 
system configurations.
