Receiving Your Shipment
When receiving your shipment, make sure that the contents are consistent with the packing list. Notify
your distributor of any missing items. If the equipment appears to be damaged, file a claim immediately
with the carrier and notify your distributor at once, giving a detailed description of any damage. Save
the damaged packing container to substantiate your claim.
To avoid burns, never use the handheld steam cleaner on clothing you are wearing.
Only use clean tap water to fill the water tank. Do not fill it with other liquids. Do not add perfume,
scented liquids or other chemicals.
Never point the handheld steam cleaner at people, animals, electrical appliances or parts of electrical
appliances.
Do not put any objects into the openings of the appliance.
Prolonged periods of use can lead to overheating. Do not use the Handheld Steam Cleaner more than
10 minutes continuously.
The Handheld Steam Cleaner heats up during use. Do NOT use the device if you are sensitive to heat.
Use the Handheld Steam Cleaner within the specified environmental parameters and away from
flammable gases, vapours and solvents. Never use the Handheld Steam Cleaner in an explosive
atmosphere.
Do NOT use the Handheld Steam Cleaner in or near a bath, shower, swimming pool, or over a basin
filled with water. Do NOT operate the device with damp or wet hands and do NOT touch the power
cord with damp or wet hands. Make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with water. Do
NOT submerge the Handheld Steam Cleaner in water. If water does get outside of the water tank, turn
the Handheld Steam Cleaner off immediately and contact our customer service.
Keep the Handheld Steam Cleaner away from heat and areas where the surrounding temperature is
relatively hot (e.g. stoves or other sources of heat).
Do NOT cover the Handheld Steam Cleaner when it is switched on. Never put objects on top of or
against it This poses a risk of fire, electric shock or injury.
Only use the attachments and accessories provided by Auronic.
Electronics
Do NOT reconstruct, repair or disassemble the Handheld Steam Cleaner This can damage the device.
For safety reasons, these parts may only be replaced by authorised service personnel. In order to pre-
vent hazards, always send the Handheld Steam Cleaner to the service centre for repairs.
Make sure your outlet supplies the correct power voltage to avoid damage to the Handheld Steam
Cleaner.
Always check the power cord and plug before using the Handheld Steam Cleaner. Do NOT operate it if
the cord or plug are damaged. A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by a qualified person in order
to avoid damages and personal injuries.
If the power fails during usage, turn off the Handheld Steam Cleaner immediately and pull the plug from
the socket.
Do NOT disconnect the Handheld Steam Cleaner from its power supply by pulling the cable. Do NOT
carry or pull the device by its cable. Make sure that you do NOT trip over the cable. The cable should
not be kinked, trapped or twisted. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch
a hot surface.
