If the wall-mounted power supply plug is damaged, discon-
nect the fuse for the power supply before pulling out the wall-
mounted power supply plug.

Ensure you comply with the relevant regulations when han-
dling 230 V mains voltage and devices attached to the mains.
Warning: Improper or incorrect use of the batteries may
result in fire, explosions, or the release of caustic chemi-
cals which may cause serious damage to the device or
pose a risk to people.

Ensure that the battery is stored and operated at the temper-
atures specified in the technical data.

You must only use the battery supplied with the equipment or
a rechargeable battery of the same type recommended by the
manufacturer.

Charge the battery in accordance with the procedure given in
these instructions. Do not use any other wall-mounted power
supply to charge the battery.

Never connect the handset to the wall-mounted power supply
without batteries or without the battery compartment cover.

Prevent the battery coming into contact with flame or water.

Do not disassemble, bend or destroy the batteries.

Never cause the battery to short circuit by touching it with
objects made of conductive materials, such as rings, brace-
lets or keys. After the battery has been built in, this effect may
occur at the metal contacts on the handset's plastic casing.

If battery fluid comes into contact with the eyes, the skin or
any other body part, immediately rinse the affected areas
thoroughly with
fresh water and seek medical attention.

Keep the batteries out of sight and reach of children. Batteries
pose a severe health risk if put in the mouth (poisonous heavy
metals).
Warning: Any liquid that penetrates the casing can result
in a life-threatening electric shock or can damage or
destroy the device.

Only operate the device in closed, dry rooms.

When cleaning the casing, make sure that no liquid enters the
casing.
Warning: Damaged connection lines, or damage to the
casing or the device, can cause life-threatening electrical
shocks.
