BMW System Sound Adjustment:
The System Sound Adjustement allows to adjust the volume of the warn-
ing and parktronic signals to the music signal.
1.
Set jumpers to BMW specific position.
2.
Switch on the system.
3.
Set jumpers to BMW “System Sound Adjustment” position.
4.
Use the treble and bass controls of the head unit (radio) to adjust the
volume level of the signal tones. The bass control defines the lowest
level threshold of the warning signals and the treble control the vol-
ume offset between the warning signal and music signal.
5.
Switch off the system and wait until the MOST bus is shut down.
6.
The system sound configuration is now permanently saved in the de
-
vice. The functionality of the bass and treble controls will be restored
with the next boot up.
Please note:
To adjust the system sounds again please repeat all steps
starting from 1.

Switch on the system. During system start up, the serial number of
the OEM amplifier is automatically copied into the memory of the
SDMI25.
4.
Change the signal source. If no audio signal is played back, the serial
number has been successfully copied to the SDMI25.
5.
Switch off the system. Remove the optical fiber Y-cable and the OEM
amplifier from the MOST-Bus.
Important:
Make sure that the MOST-Bus is closed / no optical ca-
bles are open.
6.
Adjust the SDMI25 jumpers to the appropriate car model (see
page 18).
