Bluetooth Operation

When the LBM is powered on, the Bluetooth system will enter pairing mode. It
will be seen by source devices as ‘LBM’. If the input switch is set to ‘BT’ a voice
will report ‘Power on, Pairing’.

If a previously paired source device is within range it will connect
automatically when the LBM is powered on.

Upon pairing with a source device the LBM will optimize transmission settings.
This takes a period of approximately 20 seconds during which audio playback
may be interrupted.

Momentary interruptions may occur if the signal strength changes during
playback while the LBM adjusts settings to maintain streaming. This can occur
if the source device is moved or there is signal interference such as nearby Wi-
Fi networks.

When the LBM has been powered on for an extended period of time without a
paired Bluetooth device, the Bluetooth system will power off to conserve
energy. If the input switch is set to ‘BT’ a voice will report ‘Power Off’. This is
the Bluetooth system only, not the LBM which remains on and the Aux input
may be used. To wake the Bluetooth section the LBM should be powered off
for 10 seconds and powered on.

Pairing Procedure - Android

Pull down the system menu from the top
of the screen.

Select the Bluetooth menu by touching
the ‘Bluetooth’ writing, not the icon.
