Charging the accupack
The rechargeable accupack in your handset have a standby time of max. 6 days at
room temperature and a maximum talk time over 8 hours. To charge the accupack,
place the handset in the charger. The current capacity will be shown in the display.

Note: The accupack must be charged for at least 16 hours before being used for
the first time. Exactly like your car battery, the rechargeable accupack is
unavoidably subject to a certain ageing. However, you can have an influence on
this ageing process by “training” the accupack to a certain extent. In regular use of
the phone, if you cyclically charge and fully discharge the accupack by using the
telephone until the symbol appears in the display, a demand is placed on the
accupack and they will repay you by giving maximum performance and a long life.
Extended charging and extended discharging on the other hand will both degrade
the capacity and shorten the life of the accupack.

Slide the belt clip into the grooves until it audibly clicks home.
