Two types of noise-cancelling systems
This product features two types of noise-cancelling systems. You can get the most from the noise-cancelling functions
by using our “CONNECT” app.
Function
Description
Personalized noise-cancelling system
In this system, the manner in which the headphones are worn is detected
in order to provide the same level of noise-cancelling performance
regardless of ear type.
Optimized noise-cancelling system
[1]
In this system, the headphones measure the noise level of the surrounding
environment, based on which the system automatically sets the optimal
level of noise cancelling.
[1] Setting can also be performed via the headphones.
Optimizing the noise-cancelling function (optimized noise-cancelling system)
The headphones measure the surrounding noise level, based on which the optimal level of noise cancelling is
automatically selected.
Setting can also be performed using our “CONNECT” app.
1
Touch and hold (about 3 seconds) the touch sensor on the L (left) side headphone.
Measurement of the ambient noise level will then start, after which the optimal level of noise
cancelling is automatically selected.
Optimization is not possible when the ambience control function is off or when hear-through is selected.
Instead, operate with noise cancelling selected. For details on switching ambience control on and off, refer
to "Ambience control" (p. 33).
