1. Be sure to turn off all connected devices.
2. Connect the output cable or tonearm cable (sold separately) of
the turntable with the MC cartridge (impedance 2 to 17 ohms)
to the input terminals (INPUT) of this product and the turntable
ground wire to the ground terminal (GND).
· Maintain correct L (white) and R (red) orientation when
connecting cables to INPUT and OUTPUT terminals.
· Connect to either the RCA or XLR terminals, depending on
the type of cable being used. Simultaneous use of an RCA
terminal and an XLR terminal is not possible. Doing so may
cause the sound quality to deteriorate.
3. Connect the product’s output terminals (OUTPUT) to the
amplifier’s PHONO input terminals using a stereo cable
(sold separately). Do not connect to an AUX terminal, LINE
terminal, or other terminal.
· Connect to either the RCA or XLR terminals, depending on
the type of cable being used. Simultaneous use of an RCA
terminal and an XLR terminal is not possible. Doing so may
cause the sound quality to deteriorate.
· If the amplifier does not have PHONO input terminals, use a
phono equalizer (sold separately).
4. Connect the ground terminal (GND) to the amplifier’s ground
terminal (GND) using the included ground wire.
5. Turn the volume of the amplifier all the way down, and turn on
the connected device.
· If the amplifier is switchable between MC and MM, set the
switch to MM.
6. Play the record and increase the volume gradually.

*1 Do not use a tester on the input/output
terminals. Doing so may cause the
transformer performance to deteriorate.
*2 Use a balanced transmission cable for the input side of the
product. The product's XLR/RCA input/output terminals
are specified for balanced transmission with a hot/cold
configuration and separate ground. Using an unbalanced
cable for the input side may result in noise.
