Recording mode

Le CDR 5 only uses VOC format for recording, it is therefore necessary to select this mode using the procedure
described in the previous chapter. Then press the REC button The display will show a blinking dot that flashes
after a few seconds, indicating the effective start of the recording. If the memory already contains a file,
recording does not start and the screen displays the icon      .

Delete

To delete a recorded file successively press the MODE and DEL keys.

. “ d EL” appears at the bottom right of the screen once the file has been deleted.  Press the DEL

button again to return to the main menu.

Memory numbers

in VOC mode, all numbers are displayed from 1 to 99, even with empty memories. Only the visualization of the
time counter can identify the presence or absence of a file.

SD cards

The capacity of the internal flash memory is 128 MB, about 120 minutes of audio.  The use of SD memory cards
allows to increase considerably the storage time, knowing that the recorder accepts cards up to 1 GB offering
approximately 16 hours of audio.

c - File transfer form a computer

PC file transfer is operated very simply from the front panel USB port.
Connect the port to the computer with the supplied USB cable and adjust the output level to zero to avoid noise
during data transfer.
The computer must recognize the presence of a new storage unit. If not, install the USB pilot supplied with the
device.
Once the connection is valid, the device displays “

USb C

” ; Play and Record functions are no more available.

The device memory is considered by the computer as two removable disks, one to store the files into the
internal flash memory and the other into the external SD card memory.

Drag the file from the computer to the device memory. During data transfer the CDR-5 displays

“data t”. Do not disconnect the USB cable during this procedure.
