The OREA in a Virtual Surround System
The algorithms for the reproduction of films or music in virtual surround sound are increasingly improving
and have already reached such a high level that it may well make more sense to choose an ultimate 3.0 or
3.1 configuration than a 5.1 set. This is particularly the case when rear speakers cannot be placed in an
optimal position and cannot be harmoniously integrated into the surround system.
If you want an enthralling film experience despite such circumstances and place high value on stereo
reproduction without compromise, then three OREAs, according to your needs and with or without a
subwoofer, are the ideal choice for you.
The OREA in Stereo Operation
The OREA, which was developed based on the VIRGO 25, is a complete high-quality loudspeaker that is
able to reproduce low frequencies without limitations or loss of sound details. The OREA also stands out
due to its extremely homogenous radiation characteristics. If you use a large screen and/or your furniture
enables it, you can also use two OREA loudspeakers as a stereo system. The loudspeakers can then be
placed on a lowboard or on loudspeaker feet. The loudspeaker’s radiation characteristics are designed in
such a way that the lobe-shaped sound beam is directed slightly upwards. It is therefore unproblematic
if the OREA is positioned slightly below the ear height in a seated position.
