Audio International, Inc. offers a comprehensive family of Cabin Control
Modules and Source Equipment, such as DVD players and Videocassette
Players. These modules provide convenient solutions for a variety of
frequently encountered interfacing needs or special requirements and are
an important part of AI’s “building block” system for configuring total cabin
management.
2.0 Application
2.1 Introduction
2.1.1 VSS-401-x allows users to multiplex composite analog video
signals (one to four) inputs to one output while DIP switches allow
for customer configuration. VSS-401-x shall allow customer
configuration via DIP switches to select termination on each input.
Other DIP switches:
Allow the customer to select any one of the four inputs to be
briefer input; and
Allow the customer to select the number of active inputs
(one, two, three or four).
2.1.2 Using two (2) methods, VSS-401-x combines input select
functionality:
Sequential select – one connector pin selects the next-in-
sequence input upon activation
Random select – four connector pins selects the input
designated to that pin.
2.1.3 A single briefer activation pin routes the designated briefer input to
the output upon activation.
