Video Multiplexer
1.0 General Information
1.1 Introduction
This manual contains information for the proper installation of the Audio
International, Inc. (AI) Video Multiplexer, Model No: VSS-401-x. The “-x”
suffix designates the type of connector utilized; “-1” = Positronic and “-2” =
D-Subminiature. Also included are physical and electrical characteristics
of the unit.
1.2 Purpose of the Equipment
Audio International’s VSS-401-x Video Multiplexer provides for the
selection of one to four multi-standard video source inputs to one output.
VSS-401-x also allows customer configuration via DIP switches to select
termination on each input.

Improved power input filtering, designed to pass stringent radiated and
conducted EMI testing.
Microprocessor control of mux circuit.
“Return to last state” input, which can be strapped for power-up to last
state.
