Left Hood Lock Control Cable
Removing
– Remove the left lid lock. Refer to
⇒ “2.2.8 Left and Right Hood Lock“, page 43
.
– Remove the engine compartment E-box cover by pushing
both bars in the -direction of the arrow-.
– Push foam grommet -7- on control cable mount -6- to the side.
– Cut through the cable tie -arrow-.
– Release the retaining clips and open the cover.
– Remove control cable bracket -3- from control cable mount
-1-.
– Detach the control cable fitting for the left lid lock from con‐
necting piece -2-.
Note
Ignore -4 and 5-.
– Disconnect the cable ties and remove the lid lock control cable.
Installation
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

When installing, position cable ties in same place.
