As with ANY product used in an MRI environment, extreme care and caution
must be used. The Atrix Omega Green Supreme MRI Vacuum does have some
metal in the vacuum and power cord, but NO metal in the hose and hose
attachments. Keep the vacuum as far away from the MRI machine as possible.
This vacuum has included a 15’ non-metallic hose as standard equipment for this
very reason. A 20’ optional non-metallic hose is also available. When possible,
keep the vacuum outside of the MRI room. When possible, have another technician
hold the vacuum for the operator during use.
