Enabling VCOM

SW550XC will encapsulate control packets on top of the actual serial data when Virtual COM

(

VCOM

)

Application

is enabled

This will allow the Virtual COM port in the Windows

Linux system to access SW550XC’s COM ports

Please note that Virtual COM Application can only be enabled in TCP Server Link Mode as shown in Figure 6.1
