3.10.2 Admin Settings
The SW550X Series allows User and password management
, the user’s default is as “admin”
and the password will be in blank as default; to set/change their value just follow the steps
filling in the corresponding blanks and choose Save & Apply in the end, Fig. 3. 24.

There are two ways to access SW550X
’s Web UI. The first one being Hypertext Transfer
Protocol (HTTP) and the other is Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS). For enhanced
security, it is recommended to use the encrypted HTTPS protocol. Note that HTTP uses port
80 while HTTPS uses the 443 port.
