5.1 Network Setting

While the device is selected, the user can configure the network parameters by clicking on the Network icon, the
second icon on the icon bar as depicted in Figure 5.4

Alternatively, the users can click on the pulldown menu

and select

The users can enable the DHCP options

by checking the box in front of

DHCP (Obtain an IP automatically)

option

This will allow the device to get its new

IP address and other network parameters from a DHCP server from the network

Alternatively, the users can

manually set the

IP address

Subnet mask

Gateway

Host name

The users are required to enter the correct
