6. Use Standard TCP/IP Utility 

ping

 Command 

From Windows 

Start

 menu, select 

Run

 and type in “

ping <TCP Server IP address>

”. 

If the connection is established, the Reply messages are displayed, otherwise it will indicate Request 
timed out.
